Memphis

Poor land of rich soul
the flea market on third
that shall never grow old

Corrupt politicians running the city
a snobby school system
yea.....these scores aint so pretty

A McDonalds or Churches Chicken on every corner
Gangsters music shaking the ground
The old people listen to Tom Joyner

Violent communities
North vs. South
black on black crimes
the minority is slowly dying out

On the bright side
we sell our products for the lo-lo
Fake Gucci, Louis, Chanel
And you can pay half for Polo

A very religous city it is
5 churches on one street
only one on my street
we need more things to eat

All in all I love my city
and even though I wont be here for long
It's full of suprises and brotherhood
MEMPHIS the place I call home
