The Situation

World renowned actress, Jessica Alba was at on the Red Carpet of the Grammy’s. She wore a purple Chanel dress that complimented her curves. Her escort for the evening was no but her famous actor husband, Jay Gatsby. They both made the best couple at the awards show. He wore an Armani suit, with a silk bow tie. The press was all over them.

“Jessica, over here !!!”, they shouted.

But all of a sudden the constant shouts of the demanding press ceased, and turned the other direction. A long limo pulled up, and out arose Benjamin Franklin. He looked amazing !!!!!!!!!!! Jay and Jessica could not believe their eyes. Had someone really just taken there spotlight ?

They walked up to Ben and gazed at him in jealousy, as the press interviewed him.
“So Mr. Franklin, how’s the wife and kids ?”, they asked.

“ They are fine, the children couldn’t come with me tonight. It’s a school night.”, he answered deeply.

As they stood in the distance, Jay and Jessica began to think of questions to ask this man who had involuntarily shown up. But it wasn’t to involuntary. Both of them had seen him somewhere but they just could not put their finger on it.
So they made their way over to him. As they approached him, they saw that he was a very old looking mad with freakishly long hair, that made him seem even more familiar.

“Mr. Franklin !”, Jay yelled.

Jay and Mr. Franklin shook hands, and Jay introduced him to Jessica.

“Mr. Franklin I would like you to meet my wife, Jessica”.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Jessica”, Mr. Franklin said with the upmost respect.

“Same here. You know Mr. Franklin, watching you over there you looked so familiar.
Have we met before”, Jessica said curiously.

“I don’t think we have.” Mr. Franklin said.


“Its like you have been with me forever, but I can’t put you in your place”, Jay said, scratching his head.

“Well I am on the hundred dollar bill”, Mr. Franklin said cockily.

“That’s it !!”, Jessica said excitingly. “I don’t carry anything under a hundred, so
that’s why I see you all the time. I knew it would come to me after a while”.

“Excellent observation honey”, Jay said laughing.

And with that they all descended into the Kodak Theatre, where the awards ceremony was already under way.
